Service Designer

Taking the next step in the energy transition. This can only be done by working together and taking ownership. In your role as Service Designer, you will aim for:

• Identifying market opportunities and translating them into new propositions, with an eye primarily on customer needs, but also on commercial potential and technical feasibility.
• Iteratively and creatively design, test, and improve these propositions, from initial idea to further development after launch. You do this through experiments with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
• Facilitating (co-)creative workshops to clarify client problems or promote collaboration
• Setting up and analyzing qualitative and quantitative studies, and translating this (behavioral) data and insights into improvements until the proposition delivers demonstrable value for both the customer and the business.
• Pragmatic UX design: creating convincing prototypes and test materials (in Figma), such as app screens or a landing page, and testing them with experimentation tools like Lyssna and Miro.
• Convincingly and visually presenting learnings and results to team members and stakeholders, and ensuring a careful transfer of propositions to Category Management.

• HBO/WO working and thinking level
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in service design, UX, concept development, or a similar role
• Experience with service design, customer journey design, prototyping, and translating customer insights into concrete concepts.
• Experience with setting up and facilitating a variety of validation experiments, customer tests, and iterative improvement cycles.
• You are curious, creative, analytical, and hands-on, and know how to translate customer insights into solutions that work in practice.
• Preferred: Experience and/or understanding of the energy sector

You quickly grasp customer problems, make assumptions explicit, and translate them into clear hypotheses, success criteria, prototypes, and experiments. You are a true maker and enjoy working iteratively (design thinking/lean start-up): testing, learning, refining, and revalidating until demonstrable customer and business value is achieved. You collaborate smoothly with various disciplines and bring stakeholders along by translating insights and data into concrete choices and actions.
