Senior Service Designer
Fail Fast Studio
We are looking for a Senior Service Designer, with more than 6 years of experience in service design and Design Thinking. A curious person, with “system thinking” ability and experience facilitating workshops with managers and users with the purpose of identifying the context, devising improvements to processes and services, and accompanying in the management of change.
You will be part of the Fail Fast team, a digital studio with more than 70 multidisciplinary profiles that improve products, services and brands daily through design and communication. You will have access to a growth program based on Power-Up sessions and mentoring, with co-creation spaces and the possibility of training and certification in multiple specialties. All this, in offices located in Barcelona very close to the beach. Sun, art, fun… Tempting, to say the least!
What will you do?
- Define and execute the research phase with managers, stakeholders and users, conducting interviews, workshops and focus groups.
- Mapping processes, documentation and data from the front and back stage of companies.
- Act as a hinge between business and technology to ensure that analysis and technical recommendations always consider business objectives and user needs.
- Identify problems and areas for improvement in internal processes and services.
- Conceptualize digital services for national and international clients.
- Transfer user needs to Epics and User Stories for the solutions to be built or implemented.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary design, marketing and technology teams.
requirements
- Fluency in Catalan (minimum level C), Spanish and English (minimum B2).
- More than 6 years of experience in Service Design.
- Advanced knowledge in User Research, Service Design and Design Thinking.
- Intermediate notions of digital product design and growth hacking.
- Excellent listening and communication skills to moderate interviews and workshops.
- Great synthesis and narrative skills to shape findings in a related, objective and holistic way.
- Open attitude to give and receive constructive feedback and help others and oneself grow.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Lean UX, Kanban or Scrum).
