As a service designer, you drive the work with customer needs-driven development. This means, among other things, that you will moderate workshops, map processes and needs of both internal and external customers. In the work, you visualize and spread insights around the organization, create consensus to produce value-creating changes. In your role, you will work during several development phases, from exploratory work to concrete development. The role also includes using and disseminating knowledge about tools and methods within the organization. The role gives you the opportunity to become an important part of the Swedish Tax Agency’s continued development around the customer meeting.

You plan your own working day and run your affairs both independently and in collaboration with others. You work closely with your colleagues and you give and receive support from each other. The work is qualified and you learn and gain new knowledge both in breadth and depth. If you are interested, you can also participate in various improvement and development assignments in parallel with your usual tasks. The work involves many contacts, for example with customers and other authorities. You have flexible working hours and it is a matter of course for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You will belong to the method support team at the service development unit within the Public and Real Estate Department, located in one of the locations Gävle, Gothenburg, Hudiksvall, Härnösand, Jönköping, Linköping, Malmö, Skövde, Sundbyberg, Söderhamn, Uddevalla, Uppsala, Västerås or Östersund. The team consists of eight people and at the unit we are 65 colleagues.

In this job you should:

  • have a very good ability to work together and support others to achieve common goals
  • have good communication skills in Swedish and English

You should also have:

  • a completed university degree of at least 120p / 180hp in service design, UX design, cognitive science or behavioral science as well as experience of work with customer needs-driven development and many years of experience of qualified work in service design.

It is desirable that you have experience of:

  • to evaluate solutions based on customer and business benefits,
  • work in large organizations as well
  • to work cross-functionally and in an agile environment.

It is also desirable that you have a habit of educating and supporting in the service design area.
