Lead Service Designer

As a Lead Service Designer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of projects, affect change and develop your design and consulting skills with one of the best experience design consultancies in Australia.
You will work with a team of passionate designers. You will be supported by a Principal and/or Director to deliver intelligent, professional, and informed user-centred design solutions.
Your experience:
Ideally 5 years+ working in service design, business consulting, experience design or customer experience research.
Consulting skills
- Work as part of a team or independently to deliver user-centred design solutions
- Analyse a problem, and identify opportunities to address the challenge
- Gather, synthesise, and analyse strategic, business, customer and market data sets
- Understand of business operating models and structures
- Develop and present reports/deliverables
- Understand stakeholder expectations and adapt communication/style to suite
- Actively share knowledge and learn from others
Design skills (completed independently)
- Collate and analyse quantitative data
- Lead qualitative research activities (including recruitment, scheduling, moderation, note taking and synthesis)
- Lead the creation of research insights and reporting/documentation
- Workshop facilitation
- Customer testing (experience with built / physical spaces preferred
- Create Service Blueprints
Desirable skills
- Work in larger project teams
- Coach and mentor team members
- Work on business, service and technology transformation projects
- Conduct and report on quantitative and qualitative customer research
