Your mission on the team

Your mission as a Senior Service Designer is to use your knowledge and skills to explore market pains and opportunities and together with the development team to create excellent and impactful products, valuing innovation and value generation, always ensuring the best possible customer experience. . 

What will your responsibilities be?

  • It works to connect business objectives with Discovery strategies.
  • Establish clear and workable Discovery processes for your team to adopt.
  • It maps concrete experience problems and prioritizes them so that delivery teams can solve them strategically.
  • Be an organic (even if informal) leadership.
  • It adapts quickly to changes in the project such as new tasks, reprioritization, technical support.
  • Being able to co-create business rules, expected flows and alternative flows that enable hypothesis testing with less effort, always prioritizing the systemic view of the service in a lean way.
  • Help leaders solve the right problem by supporting the prioritization of project activities, given the business challenges, user pains and technical needs of the solution.
  • It works in structures larger than a squad, looking for specialists and other service designers and bringing relevant learning to its context without a competitive look, but with an aggregator look.
  • He can defuse conflicts, even if it involves his work.
  • Works on complex product design initiatives (projects).

what do you need to have

  • Knowledge of Product Sense and the tools needed to build an excellent product.
  • Easy to communicate and moderate dynamics.
  • Has technical mastery of several discovery methods to combine them and adapt them to the project context.
  • Proactivity in the search and sharing of user insights and problems discovered in the field.
  • The “radar” on, is concerned with risks, assumptions and mobilizes to achieve the goals set.
  • Knows how to read metrics and create usability improvement hypotheses from them.
  • Share high-level knowledge with everyone on the project (ex: tests, shares mistakes and lessons learned).
  • Familiarity with Design System fundamentals and protection
  • Proactively deploys/executes Design Review culture.
