Superside
Superside is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Service Designer to build a world-class Strategy & Services team. You will be part of shaping Superside’s growth strategy, help define Superside’s offering and services to customers, and realize innovative, bold opportunities at Superside to make Superside a truly innovative trailblazer in the world of design and creative content.
What You’ll Do
Work as part of high-impact cross-functional teams of 5+ people where you will:
- Shape and drive strategic innovation projects end-to-end – from initial discovery to implementation and operational rollout of final solutions
- Help define and refine Superside’s portfolio of services and offering to customers
- Assess emerging business opportunities and trends to stay ahead of the curve
- Bring new innovative ideas to the table to drive world-class customer experience and retention
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and teams at Superside to deliver on strategic priorities
- Work closely with relevant Superside teams to implement new improvements and new ideas to deliver on strategic priorities
- As a service designer, you will also:
- Drive the design thinking process from insights to ideas to final concepts – balancing customer and business criteria
- Define and implement design criteria for solutions and new concepts – bringing in the latest best practices from the human-centered design discipline
- Apply human-centered design methodologies and own end-to-end user research process – from preparation to execution and synthesis of insights
- Distill insights into simple, insightful and visually appealing artifacts to support decision-making, e.g. customer journeys, service blueprints and personas
- Prepare and facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders to set visions, ideate, share back insights and prioritize
- Design prototypes, visualizations and mockups (e.g. UI/UX) of concepts to bring potential solutions to life
- Design and manage strategic assets to help Superside drive innovation at scale
- Report to the Strategy Innovation Manager and work closely with every department at Superside to deliver business growth
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- 5+ years of working experience in product and/or service design
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, incl. the ability to present, share back insights and facilitate large cross-functional workshops
- Ambition to master human-centered design as a craft, incl. knowing the difference between various techniques to extract user insights, ability to distill user insights into simple, insightful and visually appealing deliverables
- Ability to work with large amounts of structured and unstructured data to identify meaningful patterns and themes for innovation
- Strong business sense and ability to extract business implications and effects from user insights
- Well-versed in leading co-jams, ideations, and sessions to shape future experiences
- Visual design skills and prototyping experience (e.g. using Figma)
- Foundational marketing knowledge, e.g. understanding of various marketing strategies, KPIs and channels
- Excellent time management skills and structured way of working – with intrinsic self-motivation to work in a remote environment
- Eagerness to break new ground and drive progress with a strong “sense of urgency”
- Proactive “self-learning” mindset and positive attitude towards figuring out and learning new things
- Conscientious and transparent collaborator, incl. proactively sharing insights, learnings and progress
