The Experience Design Strategist is responsible for guiding the design and build of products and services with the end goal of delivering brighter patient experiences. As part of YuzuYello, the Experience Design Strategist will partner closely with Learning Strategy, Product Design, UX, and Creative Technology team members to create human-centered solutions that address unmet needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Strategic Design: Guide the design of products and services that solve human problems while addressing business needs (product innovation and service design)
- Experience Mapping: Articulate audience needs over time as the inspiration and driving force behind product and service recommendations
- New Business: Participate in new business efforts, present capabilities and develop recommendations for client opportunities identified by Account
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build patient support programs and new services in partnership with Learning Strategy, XD and Creative groups
- Bring the human voice into every step of the experience design process, anchoring strategic recommendations to validated user needs
- Craft briefs that outline needs, behaviors, expectations and accessibility considerations
- Lead new program/product/service brainstorms and ideation sessions using design thinking methodology
- Frame and outline product and service value propositions
- Provide strategic direction for product and service prototypes
- Map how customers and stakeholders will interact with the products and services we design (service blueprints, transaction maps)
- Use storytelling to articulate the design solution from the user perspective
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Versed in service design (patient support service design, a plus)
- Proficient in experience mapping using digital tools (e.g. UXPressia, SuiteCX, Figma, Visio, Miro, Mural)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experienced in presentation design and storytelling
- Experienced in ethnography, needs research and user testing
