About the position
You work in OP Financial Group’s multidisciplinary product and service development teams. In your work, you are responsible for ensuring that the development of the products and/or services belonging to your team is customer-focused and that the end result produces value for customers and meets the business goals. While working, you strengthen and carry forward the culture of customer-oriented working methods and doing things at the team level.
You help the team define and clarify the problems to be solved, plan alternative solutions and validate feasible solutions. If necessary, you can involve both customers and OP Financial Group’s personnel in your work. You understand the value of data to support your work, you know how to utilize it, and you smoothly sift through the information you collect to the essentials.
In addition to service development, you know the field of sales and marketing development and are motivated by results-oriented work. You will be able to prepare a work plan for yourself and the team based on the design approach and successfully carry out your plan with the participation of others. You know the principles of the agile way of working and know how to adapt your work to it. You will also be able to support your team in the continuous development of its operating methods and prioritization of tasks.

What we expect from you
The task requires a customer-oriented way of thinking and working, studies in service design, facilitation skills and the ability to apply your own know-how. Your expertise is broad and versatile: you have experience in both sales and marketing as well as product and service development. You want to strengthen a customer-oriented way of working in your environment.
You know how to clarify problems, you naturally take on the role of a participant and you are able to support prioritization taking customer value into account. You are capable of working independently and work smoothly as part of a multidisciplinary team. You are a team player and have good communication skills. You are an analytical, creative thinker and a deep empath.
Success in the task requires you to:
• completed design thinking/service design studies and knowledge of design methods
• experience in facilitation and participation
• ability to refine customer understanding from collected information
• experience in sales and marketing development alongside product and service development
• the ability to actively communicate with the team about the progress and results of one’s own work
• the desire to develop one’s own and the team’s operating methods to be more customer-oriented and create value for customers
