Service Designer

About the role

As a Service Designer at F-Secure, you will play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end service experiences, ensuring customer-centricity, and driving innovation across our offerings AND helping people feel relaxed and safe in the digital world.

F-Secure is on a mission to provide our consumer and partner customers with the #1 security experience in the world and as a service designer with us you will be a key contributor to ensure that our end-to-end customer experience reaches that lofty goal. While working on the customer experience of our partner and consumer services with your cross-functional colleagues, you will be part of our Design Function (consisting of UX/UI designers and Visual designers) to grow the design maturity of F-Secure and put in place standards and practices that ensure the quality of service that we are dedicated to achieving.

You can work out of our established offices in Helsinki, Oulu, or Kuala Lumpur, and we are also flexible on remote work policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, business goals, and technical requirements in order to design holistic service experiences.
• Conduct research, including user interviews, journey mapping, and service blueprinting to uncover insights and opportunities for service improvement.
• Translate insights to actionable design strategies, crafting service concepts, prototypes, and visualisations to communicate concepts effectively.
• Lead workshops, co-creation sessions, and design sprints with colleagues and partners to ideate and iterate on service design solutions.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a culture of innovation and design thinking within the company.

What are we looking for?

• Proven excellence (preferably 5+ years) in service design, with a history of successful service design projects and demonstrable mastery of the craft.
• Strong understanding of design thinking, user research, journey mapping, and service blueprinting methodologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and strategies.
• Experience in influencing and improving service development ways-of-working a company scale.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
