At Bia Energy we look for visionary talents, innovators and agents of change who are willing to redefine boundaries and make a difference in everything we do. If you’re looking for more than a job and are eager to join a community that embraces the ambition to do things differently, you’ve come to the right place! We are looking for a Senior Service Design and Researcher with at least 5 years of experience in CX or usability consulting, service design, product research or user experience (UX) design areas, to be one of the members from the CX, Finance and Energy teams at Bia. This role involves:

  • Carry out the survey of user experience (internal or external) with different levels of detail, through sessions or research processes for the corresponding teams. In them you must identify processes, touch points, pains, dependencies on other processes and relevant metrics both in the frontstage and in the backstage of the experience.
  • Carry out research during the Discovery process, which is key to providing decisive data for defining the new experience
  • Work together with the Product Design team, PMs and Business, to structure solutions and define processes, facilitating their development and implementation

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Strategic and business thinking:
  • Understand the company’s strategic objectives and align service design with these objectives
  • Ability to deliver strategic insights based on research data to support business decision making
  • Guide strategic conversations through iteration of design methods:

Demonstrate skill in strategic collaboration with colleagues and teams, bringing experience, knowledge and various design methodologies to identify the most relevant approach. This approach guides and facilitates discussions aimed at achieving specific objectives effectively and accurately.

  • Service and user experience (UX) design:
  • In-depth knowledge of the principles and methodologies of user-centered design and service design
  • Ability to develop workflows, user experience maps, prototypes and innovative solutions that improve the user experience
  • User research and research methods:
  • Familiarity with a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand user needs, behaviors and emotions
  • Ability to conduct interviews, surveys, usability testing, data analysis, and other research techniques
  • Prototyping and testing:

Ability to prototype solutions and conduct user testing to continually iterate and improve service experiences.

  • Design tools and methodologies: Mastery of design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, among others, and familiarity with methodologies such as Design Thinking or Service Design
  • Project management skills:
