As a Senior Service Designer, you will be challenged to deliver solutions that follow service design best practices, delight customers and meet the requirements agreed in the project scope.
About the paper:
As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a crucial role in deeply understanding our clients’ business needs, as well as the needs of our clients’ customers, and translating them into innovative service journeys. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create design solutions that not only meet, but exceed user expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, conduct and analyze qualitative research to understand users’ challenges and needs, producing actionable insights.
- Develop personas, user journeys, service prototypes and blueprints, among other service design artifacts.
- Structure and facilitate co-creation workshops with stakeholders and project teams.
- Create conceptual prototypes to test and iterate service solutions.
- Collaborate with the project leader in managing the schedule, solving problems, providing guidance and support to more junior team members and ensuring the technical excellence of the project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Service Designer or similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates your experience in service design.
- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills in English and/or Spanish (advanced and fluent).
- Excellent writing skills; You communicate concisely and clearly.
- Deep knowledge of design thinking methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google suite, Miro, Slack, or similar.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Have a business-oriented outlook.
- Proactivity to anticipate needs, raise hypotheses and propose solutions.
- Comfort dealing with the complexity inherent in creating simple, delightful experiences for users.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, being able to prioritize efforts and deliver within deadlines.
- Ability to make do with the information you have at hand (which is usually a lot).
- Extreme commitment to the quality of deliveries.
Desirable:
- Experience with quantitative research.
- Leadership ability or experience.
- Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence tools.
