As a Senior Service Designer, you will be challenged to deliver solutions that follow service design best practices, delight customers and meet the requirements agreed in the project scope.

About the paper:

As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a crucial role in deeply understanding our clients’ business needs, as well as the needs of our clients’ customers, and translating them into innovative service journeys. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create design solutions that not only meet, but exceed user expectations. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, conduct and analyze qualitative research to understand users’ challenges and needs, producing actionable insights.
  2. Develop personas, user journeys, service prototypes and blueprints, among other service design artifacts.
  3. Structure and facilitate co-creation workshops with stakeholders and project teams.
  4. Create conceptual prototypes to test and iterate service solutions.
  5. Collaborate with the project leader in managing the schedule, solving problems, providing guidance and support to more junior team members and ensuring the technical excellence of the project.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Senior Service Designer or similar role, with a portfolio that demonstrates your experience in service design.
  2. Excellent oral communication and presentation skills in English and/or Spanish (advanced and fluent). 
  3. Excellent writing skills; You communicate concisely and clearly.
  4. Deep knowledge of design thinking methodologies.
  5. Familiarity with tools such as Google suite, Miro, Slack, or similar.
  6. Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  1. Have a business-oriented outlook. 
  2. Proactivity to anticipate needs, raise hypotheses and propose solutions.
  3. Comfort dealing with the complexity inherent in creating simple, delightful experiences for users.
  1. Excellent organizational and time management skills, being able to prioritize efforts and deliver within deadlines.
  2. Ability to make do with the information you have at hand (which is usually a lot).
  3. Extreme commitment to the quality of deliveries.

Desirable:

  1. Experience with quantitative research.
  2. Leadership ability or experience.
  3. Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence tools.
