Your tasks:
As a Service Designer in the Expert Services department, you will assess the service requirements from the customer segments for the product business, including product-related services. This covers the entire quotation process. Your tasks in detail:
Support of sales and service management in presales or in the preparation of an opportunity (~15%)
- Consulting with profound knowledge of the service portfolio of Technology Sourcing as well as the capabilities and strengths of the individual internal departments
- Presentation and explanation of Computacenter services to customers
- Development of service approaches to convince the customer of Computacenter’s capabilities
Service design (~70%)
- Detailed analysis of customer requirements, e.g. on the basis of an RfQ, RfI or RfP tender document
- Development and coordination of an efficient and innovative service design based on an overall end-to-end solution according to customer requirements
- Function of the solution lead for tenders in the product business incl. product-related services
- Definition of deal features to serve the governance process.
- Involvement of all internal departments involved incl. all necessary cost inquiries
- Planning and steering of workshops
- Evaluation of risks and opportunities in the respective solution design incl. necessary (counter-)measures to limit the risks (risk mitigation)
- Documentation of the overall solution in the defined solution design template
- Preparation of proposal texts
- Preparation of proposal presentations
- Coordination of 3rd party solution elements and benchmark with the internal, central departments
- Carrying out or supporting the due diligence process
- Development of new services for our GTS departments
- Collaboration on innovation projects
- Coaching of team colleagues
Handover to Transition and Business Take On (~15%)
- Close coordination with the Transition and Business Take On Manager (TTO Manager)
- Document preparation and handover to the TTO Manager after winning a tender
- Supporting the first phase of a TTO project
Your profile:
- University degree (with a degree in business informatics, business administration or related fields) or comparable professional training.
- At least 4 years of professional experience with proven experience in product tenders or 2 years as a Service Design Associate
- Well-founded methodical competence as well as profound process-technical understanding of the relevant technologies and services in the product business
- First experience in international tenders
- Project management skills
- Good market and competitive knowledge
- Customer orientation paired with good analytical and conceptual skills
- Practical experience in the comprehensible, target group-oriented presentation and management-oriented presentation of IT issues
- Ability to translate complex interrelationships into a meaningful offer
- Experience in translating client-specific strategies and needs into a solution design
- Able to present facts to clients in a relevant format
- High degree of self-reliance, commitment and ability to work under pressure Good command of written and spoken English
- Personal flexibility and high willingness to travel
