Service Designer

About the role

You work simultaneously in 1 to 3 different projects from small to large. You act independently and are able to include the customer in the design process. Together with other Liveworkers and the customer, you work on improving services, designing new innovations and aiming for impact on a strategic, tactical and operational level. You also actively participate in acquisition activities and internal improvement initiatives and thus contribute to the overall success of our customers, our company and our employees.

what you are going to do

Realization of service design projects:

Independently conducting customer, stakeholder and expert research:

• Prepare, plan, conduct and document research
• Preparing and facilitating workshops
• Participate in synthesis activities and develop them

Participate in the development of new ideas, concepts and strategies:

• Applying the Livework methods, tools and approach
• Drafting concepts, journeys, blueprints and strategies
• Developing and testing prototypes
• Making presentations and reports
• Advising on the next steps to ensure a sustainable impact

Helping our clients in their transformation journeys to develop sustainable services or customer-centric skills:

• Develop company-wide lifecycle and journey architecture, roadmaps and capabilities
• Coaching, training and guiding customer teams and individual employees
• Contribute to interventions to ensure buy-in and involvement of stakeholders

Contribute to the growth and development of our studio:

• Support in the preparation of customer proposals
• Participate in internal improvement initiatives
• Develop own skills and knowledge that are relevant to our customers and our company

• A starting salary of €42,000 – €55,000 per year and 25 vacation days, based on full-time employment, including holiday pay.

About you

• 3-7 years of work experience in a relevant sector
• Strong conceptual and visual skills; able to think conceptually, create and visualize concepts
• Knows how to communicate ideas to others.
• Ability to facilitate and lead groups at workshops, trainings and lectures.
• Are able to analyse, ‘reframe’ and think on both a holistic and detailed level. You work in a customer-oriented way and you can deal with deadlines.
• Eye for commercial opportunities.
• Works independently and in close co-creation with others.
• Interest in people and the ability to let people tell their story with curiosity and empathy.
• Great interpersonal skills: the ability to develop good work and client relationships and make a positive contribution to the well-being of yourself and others.
• Know what you need to maintain a good work/life balance.
• Experience with Adobe CS, and you quickly familiarize yourself with new digital tools.
• Willing and able to travel outside the Netherlands for projects.
• Fluent Dutch and English writing and speaking is a must.
• The papers to live and work in the Netherlands.
