About the role
You will work on 1 to 3 different projects simultaneously – from small to large. You act independently and are able to involve the client in the entire design process. Together with other Liveworkers you will work on improving services, designing new innovations and strive for impact on a strategic, tactical and operational level. You will also actively participate in acquisition activities, internal improvement initiatives and marketing.
In your daily work you can work on the following: preparing and conducting a co-creation workshop, helping to write project proposals for new clients, conducting interviews, analyzing research data to gain insights, leading idea generation sessions at the client’s office, recording and completing a ‘journey’ framework, writing a project report for the website or organizing a lunch lecture for your colleagues.
Who are we looking for?
- A service designer with 2-4 years of work experience
- You speak fluent Dutch. But also being able to write and speak English is a ‘must’.
- You have the papers to live and work in the Netherlands.
- You are proficient in service design methods and can execute a design project from A to Z – from (qualitative) customer research, conceptualizing, journey mapping, service blueprinting to prototyping.
- You are a persuasive speaker and know how to convey ideas to others and get people on board.
- You have the ability to facilitate and lead groups in workshops, trainings and lectures.
- You are able to analyze, ‘reframe’ and think on both a holistic and detailed level. You are customer-oriented and can handle deadlines well.
- You show initiative, work well independently but also in close cooperation with others.
- You can organize your own work efficiently, can deliver quality within set deadlines and budgets, know how to prioritize and actively ask for help when necessary.
- You have great interpersonal skills: the ability to develop good working and customer relationships and to make a positive contribution to the well-being of yourself and others.
- Strong visual skills, such as illustrating in Adobe, etc., are an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with journey frameworks, journey management and tools such as TheyDo is a plus.
