Senior Service Designer

Livework is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Service Designer!

Livework has several very valuable long-term customer relationships. These are great organizations that we have been working for for a long time and where we really make a difference. We are very grateful for this 🙂 We are looking for reinforcement for one of these key accounts. In our team in Rotterdam.

Livework has been one of the leading service design studios in the world for 22 years. With studios in England, the Netherlands and Brazil, we have a close-knit international team, with a lot of attention to the development of our field, people, inspiration and fun. Livework focuses on, among other things, the social domain, health and sustainability. To achieve our aspirations and objectives, we periodically evaluate our impact. Who are we looking for?

• You are an experienced and talented senior service designer. You have at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• You speak fluent Dutch.
• You can deliver real quality, you are analytical and sharp. Service design, research, innovation… you’ve been around. This allows you to lead medium to large service design projects independently and with confidence.
• You recognize the value of working more intensively with one customer. This allows you to get to know their organization much better, build richer relationships, create real synergy and really make a difference.
• You are involved and empathetic. You genuinely enjoy people, relationships and finding the right alignment. You gain trust by paying attention to relationships and investing in them.
• You are interested in ‘how it works’ within organizations and have an antenna for new opportunities for design. Together with other Liveworkers you deliver value and grow the account.

What are you going to do?

Projects and content

Together with a small Livework team you work on very diverse topics and projects: from research, journeys and service architecture to vision formation and strategy. From concept design to super challenging brainteasers.

In a project you almost always work in close collaboration with customer teams and co-create the approach and content with them. You are the leader in delivering quality and when faced with a fuzzy question or challenging organizational context, you know how to remain calm, find your way and bring others along. Where possible, you have a lot of autonomy. And where you need it, you can always fall back on a Livework Lead or other Liveworkers and we will find a solution together. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, because your work is a combination of leading and doing!

Account and relationshipsTogether with a Livework Lead and other Liveworkers, you can deliver added value for our customer in every project. As you do that, you build your customer relationships and your network and look for opportunities to further grow this account. You have an antenna for customer questions, recognize new opportunities and applications for a design-driven approach. In this role you will have many opportunities to develop further as a service designer, leader and business developer.
