Junior Service Designer

The Livework team is looking forward to welcoming a new colleague to our studio in Rotterdam, and working together towards a more humane and sustainable world. We combine creativity, design, research and advice to help organizations deliver a great customer experience and achieve tangible business results. For years we have worked for well-known organizations such as Adidas, Zilveren Kruis, KLM and the Municipality of Rotterdam, but also for start-ups or non-profit institutions.

You work together with experienced Service Designers to improve various services that people use on a daily basis. You can think of changing your health insurance, returning a package in a more sustainable way or purchasing a shared car. You can also think of services within companies, such as training and retraining employees and improving internal and external communications.

Tasks you can expect are: preparing and executing workshops, making illustrations, helping to write project proposals for new clients, attending and conducting interviews, analyzing research data to gain insights, attending idea generation sessions to convert insights in applicable ideas, developing ideas into concepts and writing an insight report.

Who are you?

• WO master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. industrial design, social studies, sustainable innovation)
• At least 1 year of work experience (preferred)
• Enthousiast over service design en user-centred design
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Graphic talent
• Bright mind
