Job duties
We are currently building the team and we want to build a diversified team where the collective competence is as great as possible and where we can help and learn from each other as much as possible.
Among other things, you will get to work with:
• Using service design methodology to design new and improved services for residents and employees •
Work to innovatively develop solutions that support the needs of the business and solve its challenges through digital transformation
• Together with relevant stakeholders, develop action plans or project descriptions/plans based on service design methodology
• Use service design on both operational and tactical as well as strategic level •
Run networks for service design within the region •
Work with sales of ideas and concepts
You will work in a team with talented service designers. You will also work very closely with business analysts, sub-portfolio managers, service managers, program managers, project managers and those who own the sub-portfolios from the business side. Your role in this context is to stand on the user’s side and, together with employees, patients and residents, ensure that the user’s journey across multiple services and touchpoints provides value at every step.
Region Skåne is currently undergoing several major parallel changes. These will affect you in your work and the role may change over time. You should therefore appreciate a flexible and changing environment where tasks and contexts can change quickly.
Qualifications
You who apply should have relevant education in the field. You must have worked both with designing new services and with analyzing and improving existing services. You must master the most common tools in the service designer’s toolbox such as research, customer journeys, service maps, various formats of workshops, interviews, prototyping, and you are good at analyzing the results in a structured manner.
We work in a large, complex and politically controlled organization. You must therefore have experience of working in complex contexts. We also work with a care business and knowledge of how such works is a requirement.
We work in an IT department and technical competence and an understanding of how IT systems work are meritorious. Furthermore, our business is very much influenced by laws and regulations such as GDPR, OSL, PDL, LOU and others, therefore knowledge of these is meritorious.
It is important that you are good at networking and creating fruitful collaborations. Communication is an important part of the position and you should be a good listener and have experience working with conveying ideas and creating presentations that are easy to understand based on the recipient’s context.
Other personal qualities that are very important in this role are determination and a bit of stubbornness but still humble. You easily take a leading role if needed, but have no problem backing down in situations when it is most favorable. You are a distinct team player to the extent that you make sure that your part fits into the larger structure, but you can also work independently with your own puzzle pieces.
