Service Designer

Are you driven by creating new customer relationships, understanding the client’s challenges and based on that creating relevant project & program proposals within customer-driven development? Are you also driven by deeply understanding people and working design-driven to create a better society? Then we think you would like to work with us. We are looking for a new colleague to our team, a sales manager/service designer. (50/50)

Expedition Mondial is an experienced service design agency with a focus on creating social benefit and sustainable change. Our most important tool is curiosity and empathy for people. With us you get to explore new areas of service design and will be an important cog in our development journey as well as responsible for our sales to new and existing customers.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Sales manager with experience (50%)

50% of the position means that you are the sales manager for Expedition Mondial, partly responsible for the company reaching this year’s sales targets, partly responsible for achieving your own sales targets.

Our wish list:

• you have documented experience in the sale of consulting services to large public and private actors
• you are used to formulating project proposals and “selling in” service design as a method
• based on our overall strategy, vision and values, you can develop proposals for sales strategy and annual tactical plan for sales
• you have solid experience of conducting sales meetings and other sales activities yourself with the aim of creating trust and winning business
• you know how to continuously inspire, coordinate and follow up your own and other employees’ sales activities
• you keep track of and identify interesting procurements for the company
• you have experience of acting as a project manager, securing resources and responding to procurements
• you can create ongoing learning in procurement to increase the “hit rate”

Service Designer (50%)

50% of the position you are a consultant in service design with the goal of being occupied 50% of your working time and implementing service design projects with good quality and high customer satisfaction.

As a service designer, you will work in all parts of the design process, from research and analysis to idea generation and prototype phase. Packaging insights and facilitating workshops will also be part of your everyday life.

Our wish list:

• You have worked as a service designer at an agency or “in-house” or have equivalent relevant experience
• You are used to meeting and working with users to capture their needs and improve their everyday life
• You can formulate and visualize the needs of the users and the business based on research and anchor this with stakeholders

Fluency in spoken and written Swedish is a prerequisite because we work with the public sector.
