Service Designer

Your role in the project
We are seeking a curious, ambitious, and confident service designer to join the Group Customer Office and the Digital Deliver Center. In this role, you will be part of the CX Design Team composed of internal and/or external service designers. You will also be an active and hands-on designer who is able to bring the experience to life, build internal capabilities across the group following design methodologies such as Design Thinking and Human Cantered Design.
This role is for a mid-senior Service Designer who has an impressive portfolio, expertise in managing customer-focused projects, and is looking for an exciting challenge within a multinational company.
You will:
- Uncover user needs through research, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how people will interact with the products and services we design.
- Lead interaction design and service design activities, including customer workshops, internal workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms.
- Define interactions and services based on relevant business, technical, and design considerations.
- Seek input and feedback from junior through to senior team members.
- Plan, design, facilitate, and synthesize workshops.
- Develop design thinking methodologies.
- Provide oversight and facilitate design activities across the company.
- Create opportunities to solve business challenges with design.
- Participate in the development of projects related to CX and cultural transformation through human-centered Design.
- Provide input for design training within the company
Requirements
About you
- We’re looking for candidates that have a background in service design and CX, and a proven track record in applying design thinking in projects.
- Public speaking and presentation skills in English, other European languages will be a plus.
- 3+ years of experience delivering design solutions for a variety of clients
- Analytical approach to problem-solving
- Experience in service design (design research, visualization, service prototyping) and have a portfolio that demonstrates your great work, your ability to communicate a story, and your skills to influence and engage with people from all seniority levels throughout the design process.
- Remote facilitation skills to help our employees and users create great outcomes together.
- Skills to uncover user needs through research, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how people will interact with the products and services we design.
- Storytelling skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of service design doing and coaching
- An ability to design and facilitate design workshops
- Comfortable with ambiguity, with proactiveness and initiative, curious and optimistic
- Multitasking / multi-stream, feeling comfortable working on various projects at the same time.
- Experience with service prototypes and lean startup methods
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement at all levels
- Experience with Design Systems and UX/UI collaboration is a plus
