Service Designer

Our opportunity

We are seeking a curious, ambitious and confident design thinker to join the Digital Delivery Center Team in Barcelona.

Zurich is currently seeking to revolutionize the way in which we deliver our services and the overall culture across the group to one which is more customer centric, agile and ‘lean start up’ like. The successful candidate will act as a pioneer in using design thinking techniques in the company, leading by example, developing and evangelizing about the technique.

Your role

As a Service Designer You

• Uncover user needs through research, develop deep insights, generate concepts, and craft how people will interact with the products and services we design.
• Lead interaction design and service design activities, including customer workshops, internal workshops, user interviews, and creative brainstorms.
• Define interactions and services based on relevant business, technical, and design considerations.
• Seek input and feedback from junior through to senior team members.
• Create key Service & Interaction Design deliverables.
• Plan, design, facilitate, and synthesize workshops.
• Develop design thinking methodologies
• Be an ambassador for agile and design thinking across the Zurich Group

Your Skills And Experience

As a Service Designer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• 4+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience of Interaction Design and Service Design across varied users, business problems, and devices.
• Proficiency in tools that create and communicate Service & Interaction design. With the ability to wireframe, journey map, present and lecture/teach the solutions.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Fluent in English
• 30% travel mainly Europe
