YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Building service blueprint, customer journey mapping, validation strategies
  • Identifying core features that can address customer pain points and/or gain creators
  • Bringing internal Bayer internal stakeholders, strategic partners, food-chain stakeholders into our product development process
  • Support our Venture Leads when it comes to organizing virtual design sprints with wider APAC colleagues or running workshops with local colleagues and small holder farmers.
  • Recommend service design best practice and the right design methodologies.
  • To contextualize the demand and help define the need of small holder farmers. This will help to inform our digital product development process.
  • To facilitate the internal Bayer communication in order to decompartmentalize the services or stakeholders involved in the realization of the project
  • Manage user research and service design process, drive decisions, track issues, and assist in estimating resource, needs and schedules.
  • Collaborate with product owners and leaders to drive product strategy and the development roadmap.
  • Plan and manage the design research activities (research strategy, ethnographic based user research, secondary research, UX research…) collaboratively with the team.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 2+ years of experience designing complex service design systems for multiple touchpoints projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in service design, business design or a related design discipline
  • Strong knowledge of user-centred design processes and passionate about solving complex Service and UX challenges.
  • Experience in conducting and synthesising research, insights and findings.
  • Experience in structuring and visualising journey maps, service ideation, concept communication and specification.
  • A hands-on Service Designer with skills in visual and interaction design as well.
  • Excellent portfolio showcasing design solutions and strategic approaches.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, set design sprints and hold seminars and training sessions.
  • Knowledge of agile approaches and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences.
  • A solid competency in storytelling and public speaking. You are comfortable explaining your ideas to client stakeholders and to ideate the best means to present your conceptual work.
  • Attention to details and organisational approach.
  • Ability to understand the impact of technology on design deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
