Senior Service Designer

As a Senior Service Designer you will be a key member of multiple project teams, mapping and redesigning journeys, processes, and experiences. Working across 2 – 3 projects at a time, you’ll use your facilitation skills to help teams navigate complexity, manage stakeholders, and strike a balance between desirability, feasibility and viability in their proposed solutions.

*This is home based role requiring some flexibility for travel to relevant offices*

What you’ll be doing:

• Work collaboratively — Work within multi-disciplinary teams to map end-to-end journeys, experiences, and processes, identifying problems and proposing solutions.
• Ask questions — Take a lead in conducting desk research and the design and facilitation of user and stakeholder research sessions. Build strong stakeholder relationships ensuring you can get to the heart of the situation. Never be afraid to ask questions.
• Focus on people first — Identify the wants and needs of users and stakeholders as well as business requirements and constraints.
• Think strategically — Investigate issues and problems holistically, identifying their causes, implications, and longer-term impact.
• Be proactive — Mentor other members of the team, leading by example to demonstrate new methods and ways of working. Manage up to support senior team members.
• Stay flexible — Balance priorities and adapt to changes at pace, designing processes that focus on problems and outcomes over solutions and activities.
• Keep creating — Demonstrate your thinking through making, designing prototypes as required to showcase potential solutions to clients and teammates, pulling in and briefing others to support as needed.

• Software knowledge might include: Axure / Sketch / Figma / Marvel / Proto.io / HTML / XD / Miro / Adobe InDesign / Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator / InVision / Optimal Workshop – Card sorting / Showreels ( iMovie, Premiere Pro, etc.)
