Business development and innovation is a newly created department and will focus on needs mapping and concept development for new digital initiatives, which do not naturally belong in existing portfolios and product areas. You will be assigned to User Experience, but work in a team for the new department. User experience consists of 15 designers with different experience and backgrounds who are characterized by professionalism, high ambitions and not least a driving commitment to create good solutions that not only simplify and improve everyday life for most people, but which can also help save lives and make traffic safer.
We wish to strengthen the team with more design colleagues and we are now looking for a service designer who can take an active role in developing a more proactive and wholesome user experience. We are looking for you who dare to challenge the established, are creative, exploratory and skilled at designing wholesome user experiences. You have an analytical eye, which takes account of developments in society, the possibilities of technology, the expectations of the world around us and how this affects us and the services we develop. You have a sincere desire to achieve good results together with others and it is a plus if you are a good storyteller and can convey needs and visualize solutions in an inspiring way
- Likes to work with complex design and innovation challenges.
- Has a good ability to lead design-driven innovation processes and/or agile development work.
- Can navigate processes through complex stakeholder landscapes.
- Has experience from work with design, innovation, strategy and change in larger companies, and has a good understanding of the interaction between business, technology and people (users)
Work assignments
- Responsibility for leading insight and service design processes and initiatives together with, and across, teams, domains and agencies.
- Carry out insight work, analysis, idea and concept development based on user needs and business understanding.
- Develop future user journeys and concepts, strategies and roadmaps.
- User testing
You will work mostly with:
- Convert user needs into solid concepts, user journeys and solutions.
- Plan and facilitate working meetings and convey insights to various professional groups through visual storytelling.
- Prepare visual mappings of value chains across systems and work tasks to identify dependencies, pain points and areas of opportunity.
Other tasks that may be relevant:
- Participate in strategic planning of product development across divisions/departments/sections.
- Contribute to the development of the design environment and dissemination of the subject in the organisation.
Qualifications
- Relevant education at minimum bachelor’s level (Extensive and relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience from a similar position or role.
- Strong in implementing design processes and methods at various levels.
- Strong at mapping, analysis and hypothesis.
- Good visual communication skills and skilled at storytelling.
- Experience with system-oriented design or service design at a strategic level.
- Ability to navigate and build relationships in a complex business and agency.
- Preferably with experience from working with design and interdisciplinary teams in larger organizations and in product development processes with complex issues and many stakeholders.
