Senior Service Designer

At the same time, artificial intelligence provides new opportunities for how we work and design future user experiences.

As a Senior Service Designer, you will be part of an area trio consisting of an area manager and an area architect. Together, you will set the direction and priorities for the area, with responsibility for business, technology and user experience. Your role is to ensure that the services are well-connected, and that what we develop is rooted in real user needs.

In the area trio, you bring the user perspective into the priorities , and help identify which problems should be solved – and when. You ensure coherent user experiences across systems and surfaces, in close collaboration with the area architect.

You will develop the design profession in the organization through professional leadership, sharing of experience and further development of our design practice. 

You:

• has experience with overall, holistic service design and systems thinking – preferably from complex organizations with many surfaces and systems
• has solid expertise in UX research and service design
• Able to look at the big picture, but also delve into details when needed
• has experience with experimentation and iterative development

You thrive on solving complex challenges and create direction and progress even when the answers are not given. With insight and user involvement, you identify needs, see the whole picture of user journeys and translate this into priorities and solutions. You implement changes by involving and mobilizing the trio and the professional community. Your strength lies in the interaction – not in owning the decisions alone.

You combine strategic and practical design work, are a clear driver of accessibility, and are curious about how AI can create value for both services and design processes. You share expertise generously, conduct experimentation, and use insights and data to create learning and influence decisions.
