Senior UX/Service Designer

Haugaland Kraft is digitizing like never before and is looking for a key person with heavy expertise in interaction and service design. Your responsibility will be to design products and services that take care of sustainable solutions, users’ needs, the company’s brand and business models. In addition, you will be responsible for professional development and methodology for UX, service / interaction design, customer journeys, segmentation, customer data analysis and visualization.

You must be able to understand business goals and user needs, and then turn complex business processes into customer-oriented solutions. Your approach to creating relevant and engaging services is analytical and permeated by user-centric design methodology.

In the role, it is crucial that you communicate methods in an understandable way to stakeholders with different prior knowledge. You will be in the driver’s seat to define the company’s expertise and strategy in service design as the applied method for creating holistic user experiences, in line with the group’s sustainability strategy, business strategy, and priorities.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with business people, customer centers and digital marketers in the three business areas Network, Energy and Fiber, and with developers, project managers and other technology heads in a competent professional environment with a focus on product and service development and digitization.

We are looking for you who have:

• Minimum 4 years of education (equivalent to 1- or 2-year Master’s degree) in interaction design, product design, industrial design or equivalent. Relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal education.
• Solid expertise in interaction design, prototyping, concept development, service design, strategy, concept development, user insight and user testing
• Very good analytical properties
• Experience in running inclusive design processes and sketching as well as communicating solution proposals to all types of stakeholders
• Good business understanding
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to sustainability
