Senior Service Designer

The position

As we open our Tokyo office, we are looking for a senior service designer who will be a close partner to our multinational clients and help them achieve sustainable growth. You will be involved in the design of new services and products, organizational change, and strategy formulation using future insights.

• Build a good relationship with the team and autonomously take charge of the execution of the service design area
• Scope, plan and lead service design projects and provide compelling strategic consulting to clients
• Design, conduct research, and derive insights
• Identify the right tools for your project, such as journey maps, service blueprints, and ecosystem maps, to clearly articulate challenges and opportunities.
• Plan and lead workshops and drive processes with clients and various internal experts.
• Understand the service business model and define the value proposition to users
• Use prototyping tools to validate services and define detailed service requirements
• Support the organization’s implementation of new services and tools through employee training and appropriate support materials

What will make us an ideal match

• Business level English and Japanese
• Approximately 5 years or more of experience in service design, digital products, or innovation fields (estimate)
• An excellent communicator, workshop facilitator and solid client partner with the ability to build strong relationships with Japanese and global corporate clients.
• A person who can see things positively in any situation and come up with a solution.
• Those who can independently work on projects with a sense of speed.
• Those who are willing to take on challenges, take initiative, and are not afraid to ask questions.
• Those with agency experience (preferred)
