Senior Service Designer

Our design team is now looking for a colleague who is passionate about meaningful design work. You already have several years of work experience behind you and you know the benefits of service design in digital projects. At Lamia, design work extends from designing the digital customer experience to UI / UX design. We help our customers shape their digital business through service design.

Together with business developers and UI / UX designers, you conceptualize and design digital experiences to meet the needs of both today and tomorrow.

An essential part of your work is the design and facilitation of participatory service design workshops using service design methods. Your role settles in the initial phase of the project, where together with the client we define the business needs (business design), formulate the design brief, define the target groups and create the goals and framework for the whole project. Genuine interest in customers’ business and needs is therefore important.

We hope from you

• Experience in digital projects where the planned service concept and user interface have been taken to production
• You know how to formulate a customer’s Business Challenge into a tangible design brief and goals that a UI / UX designer can tackle 
• We require previous experience in facilitating participatory design workshops and user research
• You are familiar with service formatting methods and industry terms that are part of your active vocabulary
• The visual eye and the ability to visualize the findings of the service design phase are to your advantage
• Customer-oriented work requires good interaction skills; you are an uncomplicated team player
• Fluent in Finnish and English
• Your advantage is calculated by the management of the tools we use: Miro (Realtime board), Sketch, InVision, Adobe tools
