With this position Laerdal Copenhagen offers a full-time position in a collaborative and dynamic workplace, characterized by can-do attitude, appreciation of diversity, flexible working conditions, and a casual atmosphere in an old warehouse in the center of Copenhagen. As designer at Laerdal, you will

  • work in a small team with close colleagues from medical -, business -, and learning technology specializations, all applied to improve the learner and admin journey of the “RQI 2020” program that is set out to revolutionize the standard of cardiac arrest treatment worldwide.
  • generate, document and analyze insights from partners, customers and end-users and translate these into user needs and requirements, through qualitative and quantitative methods. This includes crafting compelling presentations of real learners and admins and their needs to support empathy in and across teams.
  • lead and facilitate ideation processes towards future visions attractive to all stakeholders. This includes a strong sense of divergence and convergence processes, and the ability to get others onboard with this way of working.
  • build and share prototypes in quick iterations that allow us to continuously learn and improve through dialogue with stakeholders and users.
  • be seeing the product through to release during software development and delivery to customers.
  • own the implemented solution’s desirability. This includes service design of how the solution fits into users’ and customers’ everyday lives, and continually monitor its success.

You:

You are a bright and motivated service designer/UX designer, with

  • Master’s degree in design
  • minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • proven ability to move from exploration of an issue to qualified prototypes
  • good understanding of customer needs
  • good presentation and communication skills
  • fluent in English, written and spoken
  • flexibility to travel globally up to 8 weeks/year
