Service Designer – Senior

We are looking for experienced and talented service designers, with solid methodological skills and the ability to extract insights for impact decisions in a dynamic and agile environment.
Responsibilities
– Plan and carry out all types of qualitative field research: generative, descriptive and evaluative;
– Research and synthesis analysis to identify key insights, customer behaviors, needs, pain points and expectations;
– Generate service concepts and visualize them or create prototypes for presentation and testing with customers;
– Work closely with stakeholders, other designers and consultants to create services in various channels, meeting customer needs, business objectives and technical requirements;
– Translate service concepts into roadmaps and actionable tasks, supporting Product Owners in creating and maintaining backlogs;
– Present your work in an effective and friendly manner with solid arguments to teammates and stakeholders;
– Collaborate to design, organize and facilitate workshops at different stages of the project;
– Participate in the formation and development of culture and design methods centered on people within the bank, sharing their knowledge with colleagues in design, business and technology;
Requirements
– Strong knowledge of the principles of service design, people-centered design process, research and generation of insights for the delivery of prototypes (comfortable to run the entire Service Design life cycle). Knowledge of UX / UI design tools and methods will definitely be a plus;
– Comfortable in leading design activities within projects, proposing process, tools and resources, and putting them into action in the context of multidisciplinary teams;
– Solid experience in the design of services, experiences and products that balance users’ needs, business objectives and technological restrictions;
– Background in design, user experience, business, visual communication or other disciplines related to design;
– Practical knowledge of a complete set of user-centered design tools and prototyping software;
– Strong online portfolio showing relevant experience;
Desirables
– Experience working for large companies in sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, retail, insurance, media, etc.
– Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and processes;
– Knowledge of disciplines related to Service Design: User Experience, Business Design, Development, Systems Thinking, Strategic Design, Data Viz, Design Management;
