Senior Service Strategic Designer

About the Area:

The UX team is responsible for designing the experiences of Banco Carrefour’s financial products, providing an opportunity to work with products and services that impact the lives of thousands of people in a collaborative and increasingly diverse team. Its objective will be to help plan and execute actions to improve user experiences at Banco Carrefour, from the research phase, through ideation, to delivery.

Challenges of this position:

  • Plan and carry out the discovery phase in the development of new products and features.
  • Facilitate the definition of the product strategy and follow-up of the alignment of the decisions of the squads with this strategy.
  • Plan and carry out all types of qualitative field research: generative, descriptive and evaluative.
  • Research and synthesis analysis to identify key insights, customer behaviors, needs, pain points and expectations.
  • Generate service concepts and visualize them or create prototypes for presentation and testing with customers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, other designers and consultants to create services across multiple channels, meeting customer needs, business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Translate service concepts into actionable roadmaps and tasks, supporting product owners and product managers in creating and maintaining backlogs.
  • Present your work effectively and friendly with a solid argument to teammates and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate to design, organize and facilitate workshops at different stages of the project.
  • Participate in the formation and development of people-centered design culture and methods within Banco Carrefour, sharing their knowledge with design, business and technology colleagues.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or studying in the following areas: Design, Advertising, Marketing or related areas.
  • Relevant professional experience in design, user experience, business, visual communication, or other design-related disciplines.
  • Strong knowledge of service design principles, people-centered design process, research and insight generation for prototype delivery (comfortable running the full Service Design lifecycle). Knowledge of UX/UI design methods and tools will definitely be a plus.
  • Working knowledge of a complete set of user-centered design tools.

We’d love it if you have:

  • Experience in building solutions for banks and financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and processes.
  • Knowledge of disciplines related to Service Design: User Experience, Business Design. Development, Systems Thinking, Strategic Design, Data Viz, Design Management.
  • Knowledge in delivering affordable and inclusive Design solutions.
  • Intermediary English.
