about your day to day

Your mission as a service designer in the Olist logistics team will be to collaborate in the structuring of the product vision and experience distributed in our ecosystem, which today comprises an extensive suite of services, such as: transport operation for collections and deliveries; control tower; warehouse management; management of the fleet of drivers; quotation and contracting of transport labels; order tracking; to fulfillment logistics operations. An end-to-end performance in the processes that organize our daily workflows.

What?

Its performance will be guided by a systemic vision within the logistics ecosystem:

  • Actively participating in the discussions and understanding of the company’s strategies focused on the logistics services ecosystem;
  • Applying flow mapping and documentation methods and tools, making it tangible in blueprints, journeys, usage personas, systems diagrams, etc.
  • Demonstrating in a practical and objective way how people and systems interact with each other to articulate our services and how this brings value to the business;
  • Being responsible for keeping our documentation repository of flows and journeys up to date, as well as mapping pains, bottlenecks and service barriers; as well as opportunities for continuous improvement of these processes, so that all people in the logistics team understand the flow of processes that support experiences;
  • Working actively and extremely objectively with prioritization and refinement of roadmaps, together with product tribes and business teams, based on quantitative and qualitative data;
  • Being able to identify problems in processes, systems and users of all types, distributed in each front of the logistics ecosystem, choosing their main needs in an interdependent way;
  • Working side by side with product managers and product designers in diagnosing these problems and identifying opportunities for solutions;
  • Facilitating dynamics, workshops, meetings and co-creation processes with various internal and external stakeholders, in a practical and decision-oriented way.

_ or what are we looking for

Systems thinking, propositional attitude and mediation:

  • Applied knowledge: strong base of technical knowledge in service design and complex systems – minimum of 3 years working directly in this direction;
  • Focus on the systemic view: able to see not only the end user of the processes, but the entire range of tools, processes, systems, products and usage personas that make up a logistics ecosystem;
  • Business-oriented: with an eye towards addressing concrete opportunities that serve as leverage for the company’s initiatives and strategies with logistics;
  • Facilitation: objective and cohesive oratory, with skills to lead processes and dynamics of co-creation, considering a multidisciplinary team, adapting the speech in a technical and non-technical way;
  • “Builder” profile: initiative and autonomy to investigate problems, map and document processes, translate business guidelines, with curiosity and critical thinking; in addition to feeling comfortable in an environment of constant change and a lot of learning;
  • Articulation: great ability to build and establish good partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, mediating interests and sharing protagonism of initiatives and projects on a daily basis.
