About The Role

Well, we are looking for a Service Designer to join the team on a permanent basis, so keep reading
What you will do
- Design end-to-end journeys which meet the needs of users and give the client the outcome they need
- Plan and organise how the people, infrastructure, communications and components of the service come together within the service
- Help to improve the relationship between the service provider and its customers advocating for user-centered design
- Make sure that the service is designed to be operable as well as user centred
- Engage with agile, multidisciplinary teams with a user-centred design process
- Learn from insights from user research and metrics to define and improve the service, and explain your decisions clearly
- Run workshops with your team and stakeholders
- Work with the Hippo design community to share best practice to ensure high standards
Requirements
You will need
- a wide knowledge range of UX and service design techniques
- experience of user-centred design practices
- great communication skills – you will be comfortable explaining design decisions in a way that other people understand
- experience of research analysis techniques including quantitative analysis such as analysis specification, verbatim coding, and text analytics
- specialist knowledge of digital design practices, tools and techniques
- experience of planning and conducting user research
- the passion to sell the benefits of service design to people who are unfamiliar with the discipline
