Gambling Commission

As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for creating user journeys and experiences that are simple and understandable.

You will work with user researchers and content designers to understand user needs, with the aim of ensuring services are simpler, clearer and faster to use. You will identify potential improvements to existing services and implement relevant changes.

Using service design techniques such as prototyping, workshops and co-creation sessions, you will design services that support the user journey both online and offline. You will also be responsible for the UI design aspects of the Commission’s digital services.

About You

To be considered as a Service Designer, you will need:

– The ability to create and maintain service documentation and contribute to the design system and service manual
– The ability to identify, understand and challenge constraints to ensure standards are met
– The ability to generate multiple solutions to a problem and understand how to test them
– The ability to listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and effectively communicate between them
– The ability to proactively identify improvements to existing services
