Reporting to the Head of Change & Experience Design, you will be a part of the team working and deploying new digital capabilities across Ericsson. Your work will directly help our programs meet objectives by creating and implementing change management plans which maximise employee readiness & wilful adoption.

It’s an exciting opportunity to join our global and diverse team and take the next step in your career.  This will not be easy though; you will be helping to land entirely new ways-of-working and ought be comfortable with converting sceptics into advocates.

You will

  • Identify and drive new initiatives by collaborating with end users to understand their needs and translate those into concrete actions
  • Provide outcomes which accommodate diverse regional and organizational needs
  • Facilitate user research, focus groups, GV design sprints and other inputs to drive iterative improvements
  • Author highly-consumable and actionable artefacts which include:
    • Personas
    • End-to-end journey maps
    • Service blueprints
    • Low-fidelity wireframes
    • Design decisions
  • Ensure strategy, principles, and digital designs (new and amended) improve operational effectiveness and employee experience, with no degradation of any necessary and appropriate controls
  • Interact with people leaders, local people teams, hiring managers and employees across the globe to uncover problems and insights which you translate into frictionless experiences
  • Deliver measurable transformation with demonstratable value and impact
  • Partner with central support functions
  • Support special projects such as Mergers & Acquisitions

You are

  • A user research & experience design expert with 2 or more years experience
  • A curious challenger – asking “why” and other insightful questions
  • An experimenter, preferring progress over perfection
  • Expressive and eloquent; an excellent communicator comfortable presenting in front of groups and business leaders
  • A committed performer with a can-do attitude, who fully adopts the Agile mind-set
  • A doer, able to develop effective partnerships with all levels to drive the transformation agenda

  • Effective working in diverse and geographically dispersed teams

To be successful in the role you have

  • Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes in an In-house Experience Design team or consulting organisation is preferred
  • Experience of embedding digital tools and growing adoption of new technologies such as SAP SuccessFactors (or other large platforms, for example, Workday, Oracle or Salesforce..)
  • Ability to adapt your approach and communication style to fit different situations & cultures
  • Ability to establish yourself as a trusted and indispensable adviser
  • Understanding of HR and functional processes and how they are supported by technology will be an advantage
  • Agile ways-of-working experience will be an advantage
