Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Service Designer to join our innovative design team. As a Senior Service Designer, you will take the lead in designing and optimizing our service experiences, ensuring they are user-centric, efficient, and aligned with our business objectives. Your creative problem-solving skills, extensive knowledge of service design methodologies, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in driving the success of our projects and

delivering exceptional experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Service Design Leadership: Lead service design projects from concept to implementation, applying your expertise in customer journey mapping, service blueprints, persona development, and other relevant methodologies.

2. User-Centered Design: Advocate for a user-centered approach throughout the organization, leveraging user research insights to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for service improvement.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to integrate service design principles seamlessly into our products and services.

4. Innovation and Ideation: Drive innovation within the design team, facilitating ideation sessions and encouraging creative thinking to develop groundbreaking service concepts.

5. Prototype and Testing: Create interactive prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts and iterate on service improvements based on feedback.

6. Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of service design initiatives, identify areas for enhancement, and communicate results to the team and stakeholders.

7. Project Management: Effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined objectives.

8. Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering their growth and development within the design team.

9. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in service design, integrating new knowledge into our design processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in service design or a related field, with a focus on leading and delivering successful service design projects.
  • Service Design Skills: Proficiency in service design methodologies, including journey mapping, persona development, service blueprinting, and other relevant tools and techniques.
  • User Research: Strong experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and applying insights to inform design decisions.
  • Design Tools: Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, using data to drive design decisions and improve service experiences.
  • Creativity and Innovation: A passion for creative thinking and finding innovative solutions to complex service design challenges.
  • Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing your service design projects and highlighting your contributions to the overall user experience.
