Service Designer

I-AM is a experience design agency providing holistic design services for a range of well-known brands in Turkey and around the world. With offices in London, İstanbul and Dubai, I-AM has a team of more than 120 creative minds from various disciplines including interior designers, architects, service designers, UX designers, visual and graphic designers, product designers, project managers, brand strategists, and marketing teams. Due to I-AM’s aim to establish a more strategical design approach, there’s now an exciting opportunity for a Service Designer in our Istanbul studio.

Working alongside with interior design, branding and digital teams; the role requires a deep understanding of business and design thinking to solve problems in a creative manner. The candidate should be a confident communicator and comfortable in a client-facing role. 3-5 years of experience in the service design field is required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Creating design strategy and designing customer journeys covering physical, digital and human touch points in line with the design strategy based on clients’ business goals.
• Actively taking part in our global projects in various sectors in collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams in İstanbul, London and Dubai.
• Educating and training design teams in İstanbul, London and Dubai to be aligned with the strategical approach of I-AM.
• Conducting user and design research and crafting these methodologies according the needs of the project at hand.
• Conducting research, analyzing and presenting research outputs internally and to the client
• Using design thinking & creative problem-solving methodologies
• Designing and leading the idea generation workshop modules.
