As a Service Designer you are responsible for the development and implementation of groundbreaking propositions. The job
As a Service Designer you are responsible for developing and implementing groundbreaking propositions. You are a member of a multidisciplinary (design) team and work closely with our (co-creation) partners and customers. You identify opportunities for design, invent new possibilities and bring these ideas to lifeAbout you
Our ideal candidate has experience in the full life cycle of digital design – from concept to prototype to implementation – and has a healthy dose of curiosity. You are part researcher, part strategist and part maker. In this position you have various tasks:

You inspire fantastic design (and roll up your sleeves yourself in the meantime):

Figuring out what customers need.
Analyzing research findings and preparing high-impact reports and presentations. Bringing order to chaos by finding connections and reducing an abundance of insights and research to the essentials.
Convert complex problems into simple, compelling visuals including journey maps to identify areas for improvement. You use this to create an attractive customer experience.
Creating digital solutions that answer user needs and translate limitations into effective digital experiences.
Building information architecture, interaction models, customer flows, schemas and visual design that bring new ideas to life.
Participate in an iterative design process, in close collaboration with stakeholders. Testing concepts and prototypes in the real world.
Promote design excellence in digital design – you can see the difference between ‘good’ and ‘great’ work and get the most out of the teams you work with.
Inspiring colleagues and partners.
Solution-oriented and medium-independent, willing to look beyond your own skill set or discipline to find the right solution to a problem.
Guiding multidisciplinary teams through the design process – from research and prototypes to execution and implementation. You are collegial and contribute to healthy team motivation and mental resilience.

You bring this with you

University level thinking and 5+ years of professional experience in design consultancy, where you have worked with multidisciplinary design teams.
A passion for what design and innovation can do to improve the lives of real people.
Demonstrable track record in the design of new services and propositions, including experience from experiment to implementation. You can show us your portfolio and explain clearly how you work and the impact of your work on solving user problems.
Excellent skills in data synthesis, complexity reduction and storytelling.
The skills to execute human-centered design processes, from qualitative research and synthesis to ideas, prototypes and implementation.
Creativity, the ability to solve problems and an innovative mindset.
Strong stakeholder management skills and teamwork.
Knowledge of Dutch and willingness to improve your Dutch language skills if you are not a native speaker.

The position has a salary of a maximum of € 8263 based on 40 hours (depending on your profile) and good employment conditions aimed at flexibility.
