Senior Service Designer

Public Cinema Consultancy helps to connect people and ideas to really solve social and organizational issues. We do this by supporting organizations in the innovation of their services and in finding innovative solutions for often complex multi-stakeholder issues. In addition, we strengthen strategy formation and implementation processes, and we support organizational change.

For example, we helped healthcare organization Atlant to gain a better picture of a group of psychiatric patients that is difficult to define. We help the Association of Dutch Municipalities in structuring their offer to members on the subject of ‘Ethics and Digitization’. And we offered visual process support to the Vallei en Veluwe Water Board in the development of their ‘Blue Environment Vision’, including the design of various end products such as a book and website.

To strengthen our Consultancy team, we are looking for an experienced and enterprising service designer.

What are you going to do?

• You work on projects in the field of service design, innovation, organizational development and strategy formation.
• You map the customer experience, get to the core of the issue and then translate this together with the creative team into innovative concepts and solutions.
• You design, organize and facilitate creative sessions and workshops.
• You actively contribute to business development and the acquisition of new assignments.
• You inspire through your knowledge and experience and you stimulate and help the team to continuously improve.

Who are you?

• You have at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
• You have extensive experience in the field of methods such as journey mapping, stakeholder maps, service scenarios and service blueprints.
• You have university work and thinking level and you have excellent communication skills.
• You have experience working within the public sector and you know the ins and outs of these organizations.
• You are analytical, creative, empathetic and curious about complex topics.
• You can listen well and ask further questions and thus get to the core of the issue or the perception of the target groups.
• You have highly developed advisory skills and experience in facilitating creative sessions and workshops.
• You have experience in making quotations and customer proposals.
• You speak and write Dutch fluently.
