Service Designer

Your assignment

As a service designer/web strategist, you will have an important role in designing and adapting the municipality’s digital presence so that the target groups experience the meeting easily, closely and inclusively. You contribute actively in our change work to develop efficient and user-centered ways of working and forms of collaboration where our core values ​​of making a difference, working together and being innovative are taken care of.

You will run both smaller and larger web projects in collaboration with different competencies in cross-functional teams. Together with the target groups, you develop the digital meeting with the municipality so that it meets the needs based on the situation they are in. The role of service designer/web strategist also includes providing support and spreading knowledge and commitment to the organization in various web-related issues. You contribute to the maintenance of existing guidelines, guidelines and other support material and develop new ones when necessary. Some web publishing may also be included.

Your background

We are looking for you who have college/university education or other education that the employer deems relevant to the position. A prerequisite for being able to do the job is that you have several years of experience in running complex web projects where you have collaborated with different businesses and skills to ensure delivery. Experience with user-centered methods and working methods is also a requirement for the position. If you also have experience in business development and change management in a larger organization, in agile working methods, in planning and leading workshops and trainings as well as in developing prototypes and testing them with users, this is seen as meritorious. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to visualize your message so that it is clear to the recipient. We also see that you can see how needs, content, structure and services are connected and find synergies between user and business goals. Desirable if you have knowledge of working methods in service design and design thinking, good knowledge of working in web publishing tools and good knowledge of digital accessibility, plain language and web analysis.

As a person, you have the ability to take a holistic view and see issues in a larger perspective. Furthermore, you are communicative and find it easy to listen and adapt your way of communication. We also see that you are creative and often come up with ideas and new approaches to work-related issues as well as take responsibility and drive your work forward to achieve results. Last but not least, we are looking for you who have good cooperation skills and relate to others in a responsive and flexible way and are good at structuring, planning and prioritizing your work.
