As a service designer, together with UX designers, UI designers, developers and product teams, you run a needs-driven approach to delivering user-centered solutions.

You will have a key role as a service designer at Unionen. Your role is strategic where we want you to drive, explore and recommend how we work together to create future experiences for members and elected representatives.

Your role is also operational where you work actively throughout the design process. You will have a strong focus on exploring, analyzing and visualizing needs as well as recommending and initiating development work. You also produce concept proposals and prototypes, carry out workshops and use tests and participate in development work based on these insights.

You have good knowledge of qualitative research and analysis as well as experience of working with customer journeys to visualize and document user experiences. You are also interested in how qualitative and quantitative data can interact along the path of the design process. You have knowledge of developing concepts / prototypes and further developing / testing these in close dialogue with users, stakeholders and development teams.

Qualifications

  • Has several years of experience working as a service designer.
  • Has experience of leading all parts of a design process (ie everything from insight work and strategies to meetings / workshops as well as visualizing, iterating and presenting concepts and prototypes).
  • Is analytical and has creative height and the ability to visualize concepts.
  • Has experience of producing customer journeys (user journeys).
  • Has communicative competence, both oral, written and visual.
  • Has an understanding of the web from a technical as well as human perspective.
  • Enjoys having many contact areas, working in teams and sharing your knowledge with others.
  • Spreading positive energy has a strong drive and focus on delivery.

Extent

The position is a temporary position 22-01-10 – 22-06-30, with the possibility of extension.

Monthly salary and otherwise good terms according to collective agreement.

The position is located at the Union’s office at Olof Palmes gata 17 in Stockholm within the Unit for Membership, Marketing and Communication in the Service Development Team at the Section for Digital Membership Services.
