The opportunity
The role is for a passionate Service Designer who can seize opportunities in service design, focusing on enhancing user experiences and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and implement services that drive customer satisfaction and business success.
Your key responsibilities
- Conduct user research to gather insights and understand user needs and pain points.
- Map complex processes and highlight opportunities for improvements.
- Develop service blueprints, journey maps, and personas to visualize user experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to co-create service concepts and design solutions.
- Prototype and test service designs to ensure feasibility and effectiveness.
- Facilitate workshops and design sessions to engage team members and stakeholders.
- Analyze service performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in service design.
- Define success, apply and monitor metrics
Skills and attributes for success
- Proficient in Design Thinking framework and User-Centered Design methodology.
- Open-minded, proactive, and eager to dive into challenges while continuously learning and self-developing.
- Ability to employ agile methods and work collaboratively with teams to create and deliver service offerings.
- Passionate about design and committed to iterating on service solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in service design.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in Service Design, user experience design, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Miro, Mural, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong portfolio showcasing your successful service design implementation.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., German or French).
- Knowledge of User Research, Usability Testing, and Analytics.
- Knowledge of product management and customer experience
- Experience in working with prototyping tools and graphical software.
