Service Designer

We are looking for an experienced service designer with a good understanding of user needs, business goals and technological opportunities. You will be a key person in the development of future TV and entertainment services. The position is part of the Entertainment section in Product, Services and Innovation, Lyse Tele Privat. Through the Altibox brand, we deliver engaging customer experiences to over 800,000 customers in Norway and Denmark – and we are Norway’s largest provider of fiber broadband and TV services.

• Enjoys facilitating workshops and presenting to different target groups.
• Has experience working data-driven and using insight to prioritize and validate solutions.
• Bachelor or master in a technical, creative or commercial field, but you can also be self-taught and have enough experience to have proven what you can do.
Your most important tasks:
• Be a bridge builder between technology, business and users, and ensure that solutions are feasible and scalable.
• Conduct user interviews, observations and surveys.
• Analyze user journeys, needs and pain points.
• Map existing services and processes.
• Create new service concepts based on insights.
• Design prototypes and scenarios for future services.
• Explore and test ideas in the early phase.
• Validate that solutions actually solve user needs and provide the desired effect.
• Create service journeys, system maps and blueprint diagrams.
• Lead workshops and interaction processes.
• Work closely with product management and business development to ensure that the services provide the desired effect in the market.
• Contribute to the strategic development of services and identify new opportunities for growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
