Service Designer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Service Designer who is ready to make a significant impact and support transformational ICT service change. You’ll be joining an ICT Design and Delivery Team who are dedicated to optimising ICT operations, improving customer experiences, and streamlining internal processes and will play a pivotal role in achieving these objectives effectively.

About the role:

As Service Designer, you will be responsible for producing quality design blueprints for new or improved services/systems. This includes considering business needs as well as the ability for ICT to meet those needs. By analysing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, co-designing and implementing optimised solutions, you will enhance operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will have a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skills and experience required:

You will have a track record of successfully performing ICT service design initiatives and driving operational excellence. You will bring to the table your analytical superpowers and collaboration and co design skills.

• Proven experience in process improvement, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Service BluePrinting).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Change management experience, including stakeholder engagement and addressing resistance.
• Proficiency in process mapping and documentation.
• Familiarity with agile project management principles and practices.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to stay updated with industry trends.
