Service Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Service Designers in Caffeina transform ambitious ideas into innovative digital products and services, which respond to the real needs of users, using a rigorous user-centered design process.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with developers, strategists, product managers, marketers and our fantastic customers, in designing digital products and services that are truly useful and meet our customers’ business requirements. We always aim to define new quality standards in every sector.

Specifically, your responsibilities will be :

• Understand the needs and requirements of our business and our customers and help identify the best solutions
• Design and ground user research activities to identify user needs and validate your solutions
• Define in collaboration with the Product Manager, the strategy of the Service in relation to the Product
• Design and facilitate workshop activities with the internal team and / or clients
• Designing digital services and products, carrying out Service and UX design initiatives (customer journeys, information architecture, blueprints, data analysis, user testing, etc) independently in all project phases
• Present your solutions with clarity and strategic vision to the internal team and customers
• Collaborate closely with developers, PMs to conceive and design innovative products and services
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the best practices and methodologies of the Experience Design team with a particular focus on Service Design and Design Thinking
• Proactively seek feedback from your team and manager and develop subsequent solutions
• Ensure the quality of your work, compliance with the estimates shared with your team and Manager
• Stay ahead of the latest developments in technology, market and digital trends.

• Experience of about 3-6 years in the design of digital services and products (not only sites, but web or native applications) in companies / agencies with consolidated Service and UX design processes
• Portfolio of different projects capable of showing your skills in the various areas of a User Centered / Service Design process
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and securely with customers and stakeholders, including seniors
• Ability to formulate a strategic vision for the products and services you deal with and to clearly justify the rationale for your choices
• Experience in validating your solutions with users using different techniques and methodologies
• Ability to estimate and balance the Service and UX design activities in the various phases of the project
• Ability to receive and process customer and team feedback
• Ability to carry out an iterative, collaborative and results-oriented Service and UX design process
