Lead Service Designer

At Jiva, we are building design teams to own service streams. As a Service Design Lead, you will be leading the experience design across an entire service stream — not a single product or a feature.
You’ll be working closely with every team involved in delivering across a service blueprint — from marketing to product to engineering to customer support. In this role, you will be given all mandate to create the best experience that our products and people can enable — with the responsibility of leading the team (and all stakeholders involved) towards that end goal.
Foundational Role
Jiva Design is in its startup stage — we’re building our team and looking for teammates who will become the foundational members of this group. You will have first-hand involvement in building this team and establishing the processes, rituals, and culture that help us create impactful outcomes in an environment that we thrive in.
Our expectations
Experience: You have led a design team before. We’re looking for at least 7 years of experience as a designer, with at least 3 years in a role directly leading a team.
Design Leadership
You will be regularly involved in discussions that inform decisions on how the design & product teams work and how our processes evolve.
Stakeholder Management
You will be the key person of contact for most stakeholders across the business looking for insights into your service stream.
