Lead Service Designer

As a Lead Service Designer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary agile teams to shape vision and strategy, crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges—all aimed at delivering valuable and engaging user experiences.
We seek a highly motivated, performance-driven design leader to join our UX Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and flexibility, and excels in organization, communication, interpersonal relationships, and teamwork.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee service design across our extensive portfolio of digital products, services and devices, collaborating closely with product managers, product owners, technology partners, and other stakeholders to create a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Develop comprehensive service blueprints that align cross-functional teams to enhance user experience, drive customer success, and optimize business outcomes.
- Lead large-scale workshops and strategy sessions, transforming complex challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps for digital and service innovation.
- Mentor and grow design talent, while promoting a culture of innovation, experimentation, and inclusive leadership across product, engineering, and other teams.
- Lead organizational change and enhance service design maturity by integrating research-driven decision-making into the company’s strategy.
- Stay informed and updated with the latest UX trends and industry standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Master’s in human Factors, Interaction, Industrial or Product Design, Cognitive, Experimental or Behavioral Psychology, Anthropology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 10+ years’ experience in UX.
- Experience with Mobile Applications / Native Apps.
- Medical device experience is preferred.
- Experience designing user interfaces for a variety of medium (desktop, touch screen, mobile, etc.) and different platforms (Android, iOS, etc.)
- Working knowledge Figma.
- Proactive, self-learner, self-directed and self-motivated.
- Poised under pressure; able to think on one’s feet.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong written, verbal, visual communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight schedules and multi-task.
- Portfolio of work is required.
