Service Designer
One year fixed term position

In F-Secure we have launched a set of groundbreaking security apps to protect users’ everyday digital life. These solutions cover multi-device security, family protection, privacy and identity protection and securing the entire connected home (Internet of Things). We’ve redefined what user experience means in many product categories and been awarded for our designs.

We are now looking for a Service Designer, who has the passion to create world class user experience in our applications.

You can use service design methods in workshops to co-design with stakeholders, to visualize new concepts. You design wireframes and specifications with the design system components we have in place. You aim for the best end-user experience, get creative ideas on how the products should behave, and ensure usability and technical feasibility with the ideas you make. You can also dive into usability research, create insights, and use them to make your designs better.

As part of F-Secure Consumer Customer Experience team you will be working in a creative environment with enthusiastic UX, Visual and Service designers. As an in-house design team we shape the products, validate designs, and set up our own design process with our stakeholders. You’d be equally at ease working with a team and stakeholders as well as working independently.

The position is filled as soon as the suitable candidate is found.

We wish you:

• Have 4+ years of working experience, especially focusing on mobile apps UX and Service design
• Are familiar with usability principles and know how to justify your design choices
• Have a holistic design approach and thinking, ensuring consistency across our different products
• Have a good command of Android and iOS design platform conventions, but also the vision and courage to suggest innovative new approaches
• Know Sketch by heart and can also work fluently with Adobe tools
• Can collaborate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, and multi-timezone environment, work with product managers, development engineers, sales and marketing teams, and business partners
• Are an independent self-starter
• Have fluent in English in verbal and written communication
