Senior Service Designer

We are looking for a Senior Service Designer to our team at the Helsinki office. We hope to find a person that is a communicative and experienced expert who always puts team first, wants to see results and knows how to have fun!

As a designer, the Senior Service Designer works in a user-centric design process to develop new products and services for various digital platforms. He/she might participate in all the phases of the design cycle to make sure that the set goals are met from start to end and that the design is aligned with business objectives. In this role you’ll get to work in a cross-competence portfolio team, together with our experts from different competence areas.

Accountability:  

• Creates user experiences (concepts, UI, etc.) according to business and customer requirements
• Designs and conceptualises user experiences
• Visualizes information architectures and user paths / flows
• Creates visual prototypes and wireframes
• Produces multiple designs and works interactively with cross-competence teams on delivering projects for different platforms & devices
• Creates assets and documents for clients’ products and services that other stakeholders can utilise
• Participates in and/or facilitates workshops & brainstorming sessions with project team members to define user experience design direction
• Is informed and eager to share examples of visionary design trends in the industry.
• Participates in scoping and sales of client projects, in cooperation with other team members

• Inspires and innovates new sketching and design approaches and spars with the team
• Seeks out opportunities for self-development: training, conferencing, or other inspirations.
• Is an active representative of Nordic Morning in the design community: joining networking events, presenting cases, or being active in the dialogue or conversation.

A suitable candidate is someone, who has already established his/her footing working in actual projects for several years, and has acted as a lead designer. Personal fit to our ways-of-working, true passion towards field of expertise and appetite to always learn new things are far more important than formal education.
