You will be working in the Products & Services team with our Head of Product Portfolio. This team has the end-to-end ownership of developing Hintsa’s service portfolio – together you will be improving existing and developing new services based on customer needs and owning the user experience of our services. In your role you will be working to design services in two different dimensions:

Firstly, you will be looking at the organisation level, or how we tailor wellbeing solutions to our big corporate clients based on our modular services portfolio. Secondly, you will be thinking about the experience of an individual employee using Hintsa’s services, how to optimise their user experience and the value of the service to them.

All of our services combine face-to-face coaching with digital elements in varying degrees, so multichannel thinking is a must. You will apply design research techniques and service design methodologies to truly understand how value is created for our customers, and together with our product / service managers, our coaches and our development team improve our services based on your findings. In our case value equals an actual improvement in a customer’s physical and mental wellbeing, so that’s pretty rewarding.

In a nutshell, you will:

  • Use design research techniques to uncover customer needs and pain points and conduct research into our users and the wellbeing market
  • Together with product / service managers, continuously improve our services and make sure they are addressing real user pain points in the best possible way.
  • Understand, analyse and map complex multi-channel journeys and processes to improve the customer experience, profitability and ease of delivery of our services.
  • Own the service design deliverables such as service concepts, blueprints and other service design artefacts.
  • Work together with sales to create solutions for our large corporate customers, including simplifying complex solutions and creating stunning sales & marketing materials

Your skills & experience:

  • You will be our most senior service designer, so to succeed in this role you must be able to work independently as a service designer. You will be working very closely together with our Head of Product Portfolio (so it’s not a lonely gig!), but you will have full ownership of the design side of things and that requires some seniority.
  • Relevant experience in service design or related role such as user experience design or design researcher
  • Strong skills in conducting and synthesising research, insights and findings.
  • Strong skills in structuring and visualising journey maps, service ideation, concept communication and specification.
  • Passionate about service design and creating human-centred services.
  • Background in visual / UX design
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging service design tools and methods.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in running online and offline workshops with internal and external stakeholders, and in setting design sprints.
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in a mid-weight / senior designer role.
