Senior Service Designer

You work primarily in a team responsible for developing value-added services. In this diverse and wide-ranging role, you will be able to operate across the full lifecycle of services, including:

• Researching, identifying and understanding customer needs and transforming them into new business opportunities
• Productization and commercialization of new services together with partners, purchasing organization, marketing and other internal stakeholders
• You engage and motivate internal stakeholders to achieve common goals
• Further development of existing services
• Developing the customer experience to suit the service business and bringing the customer’s voice to the organization to further develop our customer experience

During the first half of the year, you will be involved in the design of several new service concepts from the initial validation and conception. Once you have set up a house, you will expand your job description beyond your own team, developing service design skills in other teams with a coaching approach.

We work mainly remotely if you wish, and all our meetings are handled primarily using remote tools. However, from time to time you should have the opportunity to participate in joint meetings or workshops at our office in Jätkäsaari.

How do you succeed as a Senior Service Designer?

Of course, there is no single right background for the task, but we would expect the following areas to be found in your range of expertise:

• Versatile service design expertise and experience that you can open through references
• An own-initiative approach to structuring and resolving large entities
• Expertise in service design tools such as customer path description, service blueprint, design Sprint, workshop design and facilitation, user research and prototyping
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Want to learn and develop as a designer
